About the Board
The Library is governed by a board of seven elected trustees who are elected biennially to six year terms. Our Board of Trustees generally meets at 6:00pm on the fourth Monday of each month. Meetings are held inside the library and are open to the public.

FOIA Requests
Requests for public records under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) may be submitted in person, by mail, email, or fax to the FOIA Officers, Dan Power or Susan Chillmon.
To assist in the timely processing of requests, requesters should provide the following information:

The requester's full name, along with an address, email address, or telephone number;

A description of the public records sought, stated as specifically as possible; and

A statement indicating whether the request is for a commercial purpose, as defined in the Act.

Fees:
Fees for physical copies of public records will be assessed in accordance with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act as follows:

There is no charge for the first 50 pages of black-and-white, letter- or legal-size copies.

Black-and-white, letter- or legal-size copies in excess of 50 pages will be charged at a rate of $0.15 per page.

The actual cost of the recording medium may be charged for records reproduced on a disc, USB flash drive, or other electronic media.

Certified copies of records are available upon request and will be charged at a rate of $1.00 per record.
Additional charges may apply for records reproduced in formats other than standard black-and-white, letter- or legal-size copies, as permitted by law.
