When radio was new, Chicago was an early epicenter of American broadcasting. This program explores the many groundbreaking efforts of early Chicago radio (including the first soap operas, the first juvenile adventure shows, and the first series dedicated to country music), along with some of the more iconic voices that Chicago called home.
