Jonathan Eig, Pulitzer Prize–winning author of King: A Life, offers a deeply researched and intimate portrait of Martin Luther King Jr., drawing on newly declassified FBI files to illuminate the civil rights leader’s complex inner life and transformative impact on American history. Eig—an acclaimed journalist who began his career at 16—will discuss his work in conversation with Mark Bazer, host of The Interview Show and frequent Chicago Humanities moderator.
