Crestwood Public Library COVID-19 Response

Attention Crestwood Library Patrons,

The Crestwood Public Library is cancelling all programs through March 31.

The Library will remain open for service.

In the interest of public health, the Crestwood Public Library is taking the following precautions to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

These safety measures are not due to any known exposure at the Crestwood Public Library.

  • The library will remain open for its regular hours of operation.
  • All programs are cancelled through March 31.
  • All other library services are currently available for use.
  • All items having due dates between March 7 and April 30 will be extended in the event that health concerns must take precedence.
  • The library will continue to undergo an increased cleaning regiment.

The staff is monitoring the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in order to respond with proper action as recommended by public health officials. Staff members wipe surfaces with disinfecting wipes at the end of each library day. Additionally, staff members continue cleaning surfaces throughout each day. Disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer, tissue, and soap and water are available to patrons in a variety of places throughout the building, or patrons can ask staff members for these items.

The Crestwood Public Library will continue to keep patrons informed of modifications to the daily schedules and planned programs.

We encourage you to do your part to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). If anyone is not feeling well, please stay home and seek medical attention as appropriate. Practice good hygiene and hand washing. These healthy habits will make a difference in preventing the spread of illness.

Thank you for your assistance in keeping the Crestwood Public Library a safe and welcoming place.
